Somersworth International Children’s Festival Main Event moved to Main Street and the Downtown Plaza along with the Pines on the Hill.

The SFA presents the 37th annual Children’s Festival on Friday evening with a “Celebration” concert opening with WAYNE from MAINE and featuring our local cover band, BAD BREATH MICROPHONE, plus food and novelty vendors and amusement activities. The celebration will end with a giant fireworks show on the football field at dusk.

The Saturday main event on MAIN Street will have kid’s activities, the popular CHILDHOOD PLAY AREA, food and novelty vendors, games, the train ride, craft and service vendors, entertainment throughout the day and a WORLD CULTURES PASSPORT CENTER with entertainment and exhibits from 16 countries.

Also visit Noble Pines on the hill for more activities including food vendors, entertainment by Tricky Dick’s Magic show and Steve Blunt, a petting zoo and pony rides, Wildlife Encounters exotic animals and a bouncy house. An added attraction on the hill is the Flying High Frisbee Dogs demonstration at 1:00pm.
