The Recreation Department encourages wholesome and healthful use of leisure and recreation for the citizens of Somersworth. – 2017 Summer Camps –

Registration is now open for Kids Camp & Trends Teen Camp! Take advantage of our Early Bird Fee running until May 1st! Camp spots are limited~ don’t miss out on this exciting 8 week summer program.

Session 1: June 26-July 21 (No Camp 4th of July)

Session 2: July 24- August 18


  • Children going into grades K-5 (Kindergarten is half day camp only)
  • Monday-Friday; 8:30-4:00 p.m.
  • Noble Pines Park
  • Early Bird Fee: Per Session- $300 residents/$400 non-residents (By May 1st)
  • Fee: Per Session- $350 residents/$350 non-residents
  • Weekly Rate: $100 residents/ $125 non-residents
  • Deadline to register is June 2nd

  • Children ages 9-14 (As of Dec. 31, 2017)
  • Mondays & Wednesdays 3:30-4:30 p.m. (practices on 6/12, 6/14, 6/19 are for Regional Meet participants only)
  • May 8- June 23
  • Idlehurst School Track
  • Regional Meet: Saturday, June 17th- Location/times TBD
  • State Meet (must qualify in Regional meet): Friday, June 23rd- details TBD

Early Bird Fee: $20– register by March 31st                                                                                                       Fee: $35 (After March 31st- deadline to register is April 28th)

Congratulations to the 3/4 Girls Travel team for winning their division in the 2017 Oyster River Youth Association 3 v 3 Bobcat Basketball Tournament! Great job players and coaches!

Check out the new Splash Pad located at Noble Pines Park!

ATTENTION: The Splash Pad closed on September 12th for the season. Thanks for another fun summer at the Pines!

Come beat the summer heat with Somersworth’s very own Splash Pad! The Splash pad will be open daily starting Mid-June through Labor Day from 10:00 am to 7:00 pm, weather permitting.


 Looking for a private park rental for a function or party?!

ATTENTION: Millennium Park will close on August 31, 2016 for scheduled park improvements. Rentals will not be permitted until April 2017.

Millennium Park is available for private one-day or two-day rentals on weekends from April to October. The park offers a softball field with lights, 12 horseshoe pits, 2 volleyball courts, electricity, bathroom facilities, 3 barbecue grills, a covered pavilion with 8 picnic tables, a small play structure and large parking lot.
