Somersworth Parks and Recreation Department offers a diversity of programs for all ages to meet the needs of residents and non-residents. The Recreation Department encourages wholesome and healthful use of leisure and recreation for the citizens of Somersworth. Please be aware that the City of Somersworth has a leash law that prohibits dogs from running at large. It is also required that all owners be prepared and clean up their dog’s excrement expeditiously in any public place or upon the property of any other person.

– 2017 Summer Camps –

Registration is now open for Kids Camp & Trends Teen Camp! Take advantage of our Early Bird Fee running until May 1st! Camp spots are limited~ don’t miss out on this exciting 8 week summer program.

Session 1: June 26-July 21 (No Camp 4th of July)

Session 2: July 24- August 18

 KIDS CAMP~ 

  • Children going into grades K-5 (Kindergarten is half day camp only)
  • Monday-Friday; 8:30-4:00 p.m.
  • Noble Pines Park
  • Early Bird Fee: Per Session- $300 residents/$400 non-residents (By May 1st)
  • Fee: Per Session- $350 residents/$350 non-residents
  • Weekly Rate: $100 residents/ $125 non-residents
  • Deadline to register is June 2nd

TRENDS  TEEN CAMP~

  • Children going into grades 6-9
  • Monday-Friday; 8:30-4:00 p.m.
  • Noble Pines Park
  • Early Bird Fee: Per Session- $400 residents/ $500 non-residents (By May 1st)
  • Fee: Per Session- $450 residents/ $550 non-residents
  • Weekly Rate: $125 residents/ $150 non-residents
  • Deadline to register is June 2nd

HALF DAY CAMP~

  • Kids Camp only/ Kindergarten is half day camp only
  • Monday, Wednesday, Friday; 8:30-12:00 p.m. (Please note this excludes any special field trip days)
  • Noble Pines Park
  • Fee: $100 per session

EXTENDED CARE OPTION~

  • Both Kids Camp & Trends Camp
  • Before camp hours: 7:00-8:30 a.m.
  • After camp hours: 4:00-5:30 p.m. (Campers must be picked up no later than 5:30 p.m./ Late charges may apply)
  • Fee: $100 per session or $30 per week

– 2017 Pee Wee Soccer –

Save the dates~ September 9- October 21 (No Soccer 10/7)

  • Children ages 3 & 4
  • Saturday mornings only for 45 minutes- 6 sessions 
  • 8:00-10:00 a.m. (Exact practice times TBD)
  • Parent participation is required for this program
  • Early Bird Fee (Register by July 14)- $45 residents/ $55 non-residents
  • Fee (after July 14)- $60 residents/ $70 non-residents
* The deadline to register is Friday, August 18 or until full program is full. Please contact the Rec Dept. to see if spaces are still available.

ATTENTION: The Splash Pad is now open at Noble Pines Park! 

Come beat the summer heat with Somersworth’s very own Splash Pad! The Splash pad will be open daily starting June 14 through Labor Day from 10:00 am to 7:00 pm, weather permitting. We hope you have a wonderful summer!

  

 Looking for a private park rental for a function or party?!

ATTENTION: Millennium Park will close on August 31, 2016 for scheduled park improvements. Rentals will not be permitted until April 2017.

Millennium Park is available for private one-day or two-day rentals on weekends from April to October. The park offers a softball field with lights, 12 horseshoe pits, 2 volleyball courts, electricity, bathroom facilities, 3 barbecue grills, a covered pavilion with 8 picnic tables, a small play structure and large parking lot.
