State of New Hampshire

Registering Your Business

All businesses except for a Sole Proprietor that uses their exact name as the company name, must register with the Secretary of State. To register a business click here.

Certificate of Occupancy

All new businesses owners will need to obtain a Certificate of Occupancy. Applications can be found at the Department of Development Services located in City Hall or through our website under Applications & Permits. When in doubt simply reach out to the City Building Inspector at (603) 692-9522.
