The Department of Finance & Administration consists of the following departments:

The function of the Finance Department is to maintain procedures and control over the City’s finances and accounting functions. The Finance Department works closely with all City departments to provide timely and reliable information used to further the overall mission of municipal services.

In addition, the Finance Department assists in the following areas:

  • Annual Budget process
  • Annual audited Financial Statements
  • Annual six year capital improvement plan
  • Preparation of annual filings with the Department of Revenue Administration
  • City’s Tax Rate
  • Sale of Bonds to fund Capital Improvements
  • Assistance to Trustees of Trust Funds
  • Finance Director is also City Treasurer
