Does it cost anything to get a library card?
Library cards are free for anyone 5 years old or older who also:
- is a resident of Somersworth,
- owns property or a business in Somersworth,
- attends Somersworth public schools from other communities,
- is employed by the City of Somersworth or the Somersworth School District.
If you don't qualify for a free library card in any of those categories, you may purchase an out-of-town library card. Out-of-town library cards cost $50 for one year or $25 for six months. Seniors (over the age of 60) can purchase out-of-town cards for $35 for one year or $17.50 for six months.
