How to Reach Us
Get Ready, Get Set . . .
Somersworth Library has Curbside Pick-Up of Library Material starting Wednesday, June 10
How do I borrow?
You’ll place holds on items through the catalog https://somersworth.nhais.bywatersolutions.com/. If you’ve forgotten your password, call 603-692-4587 and we’ll reset. If you have questions or need general assistance in placing holds, feel free to watch the following tutorial. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=AFaah1a_-ds.
If you have difficulty logging in or accessing the internet, call us at 603-692-4587 to place a hold over the phone.
How do I get my books/DVDs/etc.?
When your items are available, you’ll receive an email. Call us before you arrive at the library between 10:30 and 2:30 Monday through Friday and your items will be in a paper bag on a table near the book drop. Look for the first three letters of your last name on the bag. Your items will be checked out to you so feel free to grab your bag and go. This is a no-contact service, meaning that staff will not be outdoors.
Can I borrow from other libraries?
Not at this time. We are not receiving items from other libraries.
What if I don’t have a library card? Can I use this service?
Yes. Please call 603-692-4587 and we’ll set up a card for you.
How do I return items?
Place them in the book drop. It will be emptied daily and materials quarantined for 72 hours before check-in, so don’t be alarmed if something you returned still shows on your account.
When can I come into the library?
It depends on a number of public health factors, but we are working on plans for the next phase of reopening. We miss you and look forward to seeing you!
If you have questions please call the Library at 692-4587
